Paper Coating Chemicals

Paper Coating Chemicals are essential materials used in the paper manufacturing process especially to coat the surface to make it printable and to improve the surface properties, strength, appearance of the paper.
These paper coating chemicals or latex's play a crucial role in producing high-quality coated papers used in printing, packaging, labeling, and publishing industries.
By applying specialized MYCRON PAPER COATING LATEX’S coating, manufacturers can achieve smoother finishes, better ink absorption, enhanced brightness, and increased durability.
These coatings can be used during online manufacturing from base pulp to the final coated paper or from base paper to coated paper mostly done on the offline method.

Pre-treatment and additives
The Pulp undergoes Pre-treatment with the addition of various chemicals and auxiliaries or paper chemicals as they are called in normal terms comprising of various polymers and de-inking chemicals as well as optical brighteners and certain dyes.
Paper coating chemicals are substances applied to the surface of paper or paperboard to enhance its physical and visual characteristics.
After the above pre-treatment is undertaken the paper is ready for the final stage of coating curing and calendering. These coatings create a uniform surface that improves printing quality and adds functional benefits such as water resistance, gloss, and strength.
